This printer is very easy to use - no RIP required, it runs from an enhanced Windows printer driver. Since this is a toner based printer, the resulting labels are water proof. Unlike the IColor 250, this printer does NOT have a built in cutter. So if you are printing on non die cut media, a standalone finisher is required (starting at $16,000). This is a solution for users who outgrow or need more than the IColor 250 can provide.
