Water based inks (including DTG, DTF, UV and other inks) all conduct electricity, therefore sealing the printhead is recommended to avoid electrical damage from accidental liquid / ink spills.

This item includes SPLASH ABSORBING STRIPS to minimize electrical damage that can be caused as a result of an accidental ink or cleaning solution spill. Works on all Epson printheads. Each Splash Absorbing Strip will absorb/hold up to 6cc of ink spills.

How to use:

Simply place a Splash Absorbing Strip in the printhead before you flush or change dampers. You can also hold a Splash Absorbing Strip close to your syringe when you flush. It is recommended to use 2 Splash Absorbing Strips at a time for best prevention. See photos below.
